AU Information
Apr. 2nd, 2016 05:37 pm The best way to describe Shun's AU is 'AU where everything is the same, but Shun is a mouse'-to an extent.
In the Furnimal AU there are actually two duelists dealing with this condition, and both are the direct result of Shiun'in Sora's actions. Sora is a Psychic Duelist in this AU, able to bring cards to reality; in the case of the first 'furnimal', Yuuya, Sora's actions are thankfully benevolent. Desperate to save someone he's grown attached to in the time before the Maiami Dueling Championships, Sora not only hijacks a body that is considered entirely reliant on life support, but attempts to bring Yuuya back by using the Polymerization card directly on him. The result is a two-foot, furnimal looking Yuuya, with a few cat-like mannerisms but otherwise decent health.
Unfortunately, while this saved Yuuya, it meant that Sora could now be aware of something he could do if he focused his power. To that end, Sora would set upon Kurosaki Shun the ultimate 'vengeance' for his earlier loss in the championship. Many days after using his cards to fuse Yuuya, he would repeat the actions in the final move against Shun-not only launching him down the stairs, but fusing him just as permanently with the Furnimal Mouse. The end result is even smaller than Yuuya is, barely reaching a foot-but as is discovered not long after, Shun' strength is more than intact.
Despite the difficulties brought on by being a good four feet shorter than he's used to, Shun adapts relatively well to the situation, and the plot of the series carries on relatively unchanged; this includes such instances as beating ten prisoners to a pulp day one in prison, barrelling through still more guard forces in the trash filled underground, and so on, so forth. He even drives the D-Wheels.
Somehow.
...Admittedly, he does have a bit of an increased sweet tooth now, much to his chagrin.
